Reverse description The elaborately quartered arms of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, displaying multiple heraldic charges including lions and other dynastic devices, surmounted by a large ornate crown with scrollwork and acanthus mantling; the shield is set within a decorative cartouche. A continuous Latin titular legend of the duke surrounds the entire composition between a beaded inner border and the coin's outer edge.
