| Obverse description | Two winged cherubs in flight flank the upper field, each gesturing toward a pair of heraldic shields displayed side by side in the lower portion of the coin. The dexter shield bears the imperial eagle of Austria, while the sinister shield displays the arms of Saxony with the barry-of-ten field and the rys bend. Elaborate foliate and cartouche mantling frames the shields on either side. The Latin legend CONIUNCTIO FELIX arcs along the upper rim, referencing the happy union celebrated by the issue. |
