| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Ferdinand III, Grand Duke of Tuscany and Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg, rendered in a neoclassical style. The portrait is unadorned and realistic, consistent with late Habsburg portraiture of the period. A lengthy abbreviated legend encircling the effigy reads from approximately the 7 o'clock position, expanding the titles: Ferdinandus, by the Grace of God, Royal Prince of Hungary and Bohemia, Archduke of Austria, Duke of Salzburg, Prince of Eichstätt, Passau and Berchtesgaden, Prince Elector of the Holy Roman Empire. |

| Reverse description | A large, elaborately mantled coat of arms dominates the reverse, surmounted by a princely crown. The shield displays the complex quartered arms of the Salzburg archbishopric combined with the hereditary Habsburg territories, supported by ornate drapery on either side. The divided date is placed in the exergue below the coat of arms, split across the lower field in two parts. |
