Reverse description A crowned, ornately decorated heraldic shield bearing the coat of arms of Carinthia is centered within a beaded inner circle. The shield is rendered in the elaborately quartered style characteristic of Habsburg dynastic coinage of the mid-sixteenth century. The date is divided by a cross positioned at the top of the field, flanking the crown. The Latin legend surrounds the inner circle along the outer margin.
