Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Archduke Ferdinand Charles facing right, with long flowing hair, the shoulders clad in ornate plate armor with decorative gorget, all within a beaded inner circle. The Latin legend is divided around the effigy, reading FERD CA D G to the right and ARC AV to the left, rendered in bold Roman capitals.
