Obverse description Draped bust of Queen Christina of Sweden in three-quarter left-facing profile, wearing a coronet and a wide ruff collar characteristic of mid-17th century royal portraiture. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the drapery and headwear. A beaded or dotted inner circle frames the central portrait, with the circumferential Latin legend occupying the outer field, punctuated by ornamental crosses and stops.
