Obverse description At center, the interlaced crowned royal cypher of Christian VI (C6) in double monogram form occupies the field, with the cipher repeated in reverse (6C) to create a symmetrical design. The monogram is surmounted by a royal crown. The surrounding legend, rendered in Latin, is interrupted at the sides by the upright strokes of the monogram. A beaded inner ring frames the design along the rim, providing a formal border typical of Danish gold coinage of the period.
