Reverse description Crowned quartered royal arms of Denmark occupying the central field, displaying the three lions passant with hearts of Denmark in the first and fourth quarters, and the lion rampant of Norway alongside the three crowns of Sweden in the second and third quarters, all beneath an ornate royal crown with cross finial. The shield is supported by laurel branches tied at the base, with the mint mark C and mintmaster's initial W visible below. The surrounding legend, divided by the crown at top and the mint marks at bottom, reads D.G.REX. DA. NO. V. G. C W to the right and the date 16 91 with NOV. G. to the left, identifying Christian V by the Grace of God King of Denmark, Norway, the Vends and Goths.
