| Obverse description | Full-length effigy of King Christian V standing facing, clad in armor with a long mantle. The king holds an upraised scepter in his right hand and an orb (globus cruciger) extended in his left hand, a pose reminiscent of the krone and first speciedaler coinage of Christian IV. The figure is rendered in a formal baroque style with attention to armorial detail. The Latin legend encircles the design along the rim. |
