(Translation: Christian V Dei Gratia King of Denmark (DAN), Norway (NOR), the Wends (VA) and the Goths (GO))
Reverse description Three oval heraldic shields bearing the arms of Denmark, Norway, and Holstein arranged in an inverted triangle formation within the central field. Above the grouping, the Danish royal crown is surmounted by a large cross whose arms extend to divide the reverse into four quadrants, passing behind the shields. The date and mint mark initials (GK) are distributed at the sides of the lower shield. A Latin legend encircling the rim is divided into four sections by the arms of the cross, citing the king's ducal and comital titles.
