Obverse description Full-length effigy of King Christian IV standing facing right within an inner beaded circle, the king robed and crowned, holding a scepter in his right hand and a royal orb in his left. The figure is rendered in late Renaissance style with fine drapery detail. The royal title legend in Latin capitals runs along the outer field between the beaded circle and the coin's rim.
