Obverse description Full-length crowned effigy of Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI facing right, clad in armour beneath an imperial mantle, holding an orb in the left hand and a scepter in the right. The figure is rendered in high relief within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin imperial legend disposed around the periphery. The composition reflects the formal Baroque regal portraiture characteristic of Habsburg coinage of the early eighteenth century.
