| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Elector Charles Theodore facing right, with flowing wig tied at the nape, rendered in high relief in the late Baroque manner. The truncation of the bust is visible at the lower rim. A circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading the ruler's full abbreviated title as Count Palatine of the Rhine, Duke and Arch-Steward of Bavaria and of the Holy Roman Empire. The field is smooth and unadorned, typical of high-quality Bavarian ducat coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | A boldly struck double-headed imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head surmounted by a separate crown and the whole beneath a central imperial crown. On the breast of the eagle, an ornate crowned heraldic shield bearing the quartered arms of the Palatinate-Bavaria is suspended within the chain of an Order. The date 1792 is divided at the base of the eagle, with 17 to the left and 92 to the right. The surrounding Latin legend references the elector's role as Imperial Vicar and Provincial Steward, reading IN P R S & I F PROV & VICAR. |
