| Obverse description | Standing armored knight in three-quarter view facing right, holding a bundle of arrows in the left hand and a sword upright over the right shoulder, with the date 16-73 flanking the figure in the field. The knight wears a plumed helmet and full plate armor with ornate detailing. A circular legend runs along the milled border, reading CONCORDIA RES PARVAE CRESCUNT HOL. The overall style is characteristic of Dutch Republic coinage of the late seventeenth century, struck on a broad, thick piedfort flan with a granular milled edge. |

| Reverse description | Central rectangular cartouche framed by an ornate wreath of laurel and oak branches containing the five-line Latin monetary legend in bold relief. Below the cartouche, the Amsterdam city arms (three Saint Andrew's crosses) appear in the lower field. The decorative foliate border surrounds the entire design, with scrollwork at the upper corners, all struck on the characteristic thick piedfort flan consistent with a four-ducat weight piece. |
