| Obverse description | A crowned bear passant to the right, rendered in high relief, stands atop a crenellated stone wall with an arched gateway visible at its base — the heraldic bear of Anhalt serving as the principal device. The figure is finely detailed, with naturalistic fur texture and a royal crown above the head. The curved legend EX AURO ANHALTINO arches above the bear within the upper portion of the field, denoting that the coin was struck from Anhalt Harz gold (here rendered in silver as a pattern).
