| Obverse description | Draped bust of Prince-Bishop Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim facing right, wearing a curled wig and episcopal vestments with lace jabot, depicted within a raised diamond-shaped (lozenge) inner frame set against a flat field. The encircling Latin legend, divided by the corners of the lozenge, reads ADAM.FRIED.D.G.EP.B.ET.W.S.R.I.FR.F.O.DUX., identifying him as Bishop of Bamberg and Würzburg and Prince of the Holy Roman Empire. The broad outer border is decorated with a continuous granulated or beaded milling pattern. A small engraver's initial R is visible beneath the bust. |
