Obverse description Central field occupied by a quartered heraldic shield displaying the arms of Breslau: the upper quarters bear rampant lions facing one another, the lower quarters feature a large Gothic letter 'W' (for Wratislavia) and a Silesian eagle, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The date appears within the circumferential Latin legend, which is further bounded by a beaded outer border running along the coin's rim.
