Reverse description The reverse features a ornate rectangular tablet occupying the central field, its frame decorated with elaborate scrollwork and foliate cartouche ornaments at the top, bottom, and sides. Within the tablet, a five-line Latin inscription in serif capital lettering declares the coin's weight and fineness standard. A beaded border surrounds the entire reverse design.
