Obverse lettering AUGUSTA VINDELICORUM. 1743
Reverse description Laureate and armored bust of Holy Roman Emperor Karl VII facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed pauldrons, gorget, and flowing curled wig characteristic of Baroque portraiture. The emperor is depicted in classical military dress with scale armor visible at the shoulder. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, divided by the bust truncation, reading CAROLUS VII D. G. ROM. IMP. S. A. The coin's milled edge border frames the design on both sides.
