| Reverse description | A crowned double-headed imperial eagle with outstretched wings is displayed centrally within a beaded inner circle, bearing an imperial orb on its breast. The eagle's two heads are crowned individually and surmounted by a single large imperial crown above, characteristic of Holy Roman Empire iconography under Ferdinand II. The encircling Latin legend naming the emperor runs continuously around the outer border of the coin, separated from the eagle device by the beaded circle. The crisp, high-relief rendering of the eagle's plumage and the bold spread of the wings are consistent with the refined hammered gold coinage of the period. |
