Obverse description Crowned bipartite Hungarian coat of arms, featuring the traditional Hungarian dynastic shield without an inner pearl circle. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. The encircling Latin legend runs along the coin's periphery, attributing the royal and imperial titles to Leopold I. The mint mark KB (Kremnica) appears at the end of the legend.

Reverse description The Virgin Mary as Patrona Hungariae depicted seated on a crescent moon, without rays, holding the Christ Child on her right arm. The mint master's initials P H flank the central figure to left and right. The denomination DUARIUS appears in the legend, with the date below the figure. The design is rendered in a modest but devotional baroque style consistent with small-denomination Hungarian coinage of the period.
