| Reverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, the arm of Stargard — a stylized upright arm or sleeve device — is depicted at center, serving as the heraldic symbol of the House of Mecklenburg-Stargard. The device is boldly struck in the Gothic hammered tradition. A Latin legend in Gothic lettering surrounds the central device along the outer border, identifying the issuing authority and the monetary denomination. |

Albert VII ruled Mecklenburg jointly with his brother Heinrich V from 1503, a co-regency that produced considerable administrative friction and inconsistent coinage output. The Dreiling — worth three pfennigs — was the workhorse denomination of northern German petty commerce in this period, and Mecklenburg's issues circulated well beyond ducal borders into Pomeranian and Hanseatic trading networks. Kunzel's range of die references (75–78) reflects genuine variety across the twelve-year emission, not simply cataloguing convention.
