Obverse description Square klippe flan with a central circular design enclosed within a beaded border. The field displays the impaled arms of the Holy Roman Empire and the City of Nuremberg side by side: to the left, an eagle displayed, and to the right, the Nuremberg per-bend arms featuring a diagonal stripe. Above the shield, an ornate scroll or crest element is visible. The date 1628 appears in the upper portion of the circular field, flanked by small star ornaments, and the mint initial N is positioned at the base of the shield.
