| Reverse description | A crowned bishop's mitre occupies the lower central field, surmounted by an ornate cross pattée with floriate terminals rising above it. The date is divided to either side of the cross, with digits appearing in the upper left and upper right fields. The numeral of value '6' (for three Pfennig / Dreier) is inscribed within or beneath the mitre. The overall composition is characteristic of small hammered ecclesiastical coinage of the German states in the early seventeenth century. |
