Reverse description A crowned imperial orb occupying the central field, surmounted by a cross and encircled by a horizontal band, with the numeral '3' inscribed within the lower hemisphere of the orb to denote the denomination. The date is divided and placed to either side of the orb, reading '16' to the left and '00' (or the relevant year) to the right. A beaded border frames the design along the coin's edge. The overall composition is typical of late sixteenth- and early seventeenth-century German small silver coinage.
