Obverse description	Bust of Athena in helmet at left, rendered in intaglio style against a fine guilloche underprint. The denomination ΔΡΑΧΜΗ ΜΙΑ appears in large letters within a dark ornate cartouche at centre-right, with the issuer's name ΕΘΝΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ across the top. A red letterpress overprint reading ΝΟΜΟΣ and the date 1917 is applied at left, with serial number and printer's imprint at base.
