Reverse description Central fire altar with a blazing flame rising from the top, flanked by schematically rendered guardian figures standing on either side; the altar column is bound with a ribbon whose ends hang downward. A six-pointed star appears to the left of the flame and a crescent to the right. The entire design is enclosed within a pointed or beaded border. A regnal year in Pahlavi script is inscribed to the left of the altar figures, and a mint name appears to the right, reflecting the varied Iranian and Sistani mint attributions of the host coinage.
