| Obverse description | Draped bust of the ruler facing right, depicted in Sasanian-derived style, with a circled dot device positioned above the effigy. A Pahlavi legend appears in the field behind the bust, while a Sogdian legend runs in front. Two countermarks are applied to the field: one bearing the Bukharan dynastic symbol and a second carrying a Sogdian word, both applied subsequent to the original striking. The overall composition reflects the strongly Iranianized numismatic tradition of the Sogdian Bukhar Khudat rulers. |

| Reverse description | Zoroastrian fire altar depicted in the center, rendered in the Sasanian numismatic tradition, with flames issuing from the altar's crown. The head of Ahura Mazda faces right within or above the altar structure. Two attendant figures flank the altar on either side, each facing inward in a posture of reverence, continuing the iconographic program derived from late Sasanian drachm prototypes. |
