| Obverse description | Bust of Skandagupta facing right, rendered in a schematic late Gupta style with a pronounced eye depicted in relief and flowing hair or headdress visible to the rear. The effigy occupies the majority of the flan, with the face shown in profile. The surface bears the characteristic irregularities of a hand-hammered silver flan, with die wear and metal flow visible across the field. Brahmi script legends are present, though partially obscured by wear and flan irregularities. |
