| Obverse description | Bust of the Kidarite ruler facing right, depicted wearing an elaborate stepped or tiered crown surmounted by a crescent and adorned with ribbons or diadem ties trailing behind. The effigy displays schematized facial features characteristic of late Kushan artistic tradition, with a prominent nose and eye rendered in profile. A beaded necklace or torque is visible at the neck, and the draped shoulders are indicated by stylized striations. Bactrian legend reading 'Goboziko' is inscribed in the field surrounding the bust, enclosed within a beaded border. |
