Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Victor Emmanuel I, depicted with flowing powdered hair tied at the nape with a ribbon bow, in the neoclassical style. The king's bust is truncated at the shoulder and faces left in high relief. The engraver's signature A. LAVY appears below the neck truncation, and the date 1815 is placed in the lower exergue. The peripheral legend encircles the bust within a beaded border.
