Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Charles VI (known as Carlo III in Milan) facing right, rendered in high relief with elaborate curled hair beneath a laurel wreath. The portrait is finely engraved in the Baroque style typical of early 18th-century Milanese coinage. A small six-pointed star appears in the lower left field. The circular Latin legend reads CAROLVS·VI·IMP·ET·HIS·R, abbreviated for Carolus VI Imperator et Hispaniae Rex.
