| Obverse description | The central field features the Arms of the Republic of Sierra Leone — depicting two lions rampant supporting a shield, with palm trees above and a motto ribbon below bearing the legend UNITY FREEDOM JUSTICE — set within a raised circular cartouche. The circular legend REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE arcs above the arms, with the date 2022 in the exergue below.
