Obverse description The coat of arms of Barbados occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield supported on the left by a dolphin and on the right by a pelican, with a bearded fig tree as the crest above two crossed tridents. A scroll at the base of the arms bears the national motto rendered in the legend. The country name BARBADOS arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 DOLLAR is inscribed along the lower border. The specifications 10 g and Ti 990 appear on either side of the lower field, identifying the metal and weight. The entire surface exhibits the distinctive teal coloration characteristic of this titanium issue.
