Obverse description The Barbadian national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a shield divided into three sections bearing a bearded fig tree, a pelican, and a golden Pride of Barbados flower, supported by a dolphin on the left and a pelican on the right, above a scroll bearing the national motto. The legend BARBADOS arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 DOLLAR is inscribed along the lower rim. Purity and weight designations 1 OZ and AG 999 appear in the lower left and lower right fields respectively, rendered in a polished proof-like finish against a mirrored background.

The legend CARIBBEAN SILVER arcs boldly along the upper periphery in large raised lettering. The date 2023 and the inscription 1 OZ. FINE SILVER 999 appear along the right side of the field in vertical orientation, completing the design within a deeply contrasted proof finish.
