Reverse description The reverse features a detailed effigy of the Statue of Liberty in three-quarter view, her right arm raised aloft holding a torch and her left arm cradling a tablet, rendered with fine drapery detail. The denomination $1 appears prominently to the left of the figure in the field. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA arcs around the upper periphery, with the design enclosed within a plain inner circle. The overall composition is common to all coins of the Presidential Dollar series.
