| Obverse description | The national arms of Trinidad and Tobago occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with fine detail: a shield bearing two ships and a castle, supported by a hummingbird to the left and an ibis to the right, with a ship's wheel as crest above a helmet, and a scrolled ribbon below carrying the national motto in two parts.
