| Reverse description | The reverse presents a full-length, colored depiction of Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) standing upright at center, rendered in his classic green and black costume with the Green Lantern power ring raised on his right hand. The central colored figure is flanked on both sides by uncolored engraved action vignettes of the character in dynamic flying poses, set against a background of radiating lines and dot-pattern fields evoking a comic-book aesthetic. The legend GREEN LANTERN appears in the upper right field. At the lower center, the colorized Justice League shield logo is inscribed, with the copyright notice TM & © DC Comics. (s21) along the right inner border. |

| Additional information |
Part of a DC Comics licensing arrangement that brought several superhero characters to Pacific island legal tender programs in the early 2020s, this issue belongs to a category of numismatic product designed almost entirely for the collector market rather than any domestic monetary function. Samoa's population of roughly 220,000 would have little use for a silver dollar bearing an American comics character, and none were ever intended to circulate.
