Obverse description Bare-headed left-facing effigy of King George VI, rendered in a fine incuse sketch style faithfully reproducing Emanuel Hahn's original artistic conception. The portrait occupies the central field with delicate engraved line work conveying the king's facial features and hair. The engraver's initials 'HP' appear below the truncation, and the date '2024' is inscribed in the lower right field. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy along the periphery, separated by stylised dot punctuation, with a beaded border encircling the entire design.

Reverse description A detailed incuse rendering of Canada's Centre Block of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, depicted in the style of Emanuel Hahn's original 1939 sketch, complete with radiating compositional guidelines and architectural construction lines that evoke a draughtsman's working drawing. The Peace Tower rises prominently at the centre, flanked by the East and West Blocks, all executed with fine engraved line work on a lightly frosted field. The curved legend 'FIDE SVORVM REGNAT' arches along the upper periphery in widely spaced incuse letters. Below the architectural motif, the inscriptions 'CANADA', '1939', and '1 DOLLAR' are arranged in three lines across the lower field.
