Reverse description A small, heraldic eagle with spread wings is displayed at centre, perched on a cloud and grasping an olive branch and arrows in its talons, all enclosed within a symmetrical wreath of olive and palm branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The circumferential legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA encircles the entire design in the outer field, rendered in bold Latin capitals. The wreath and eagle are executed in the early Small Eagle style characteristic of the first United States silver dollar coinage of the 1790s. The milled border with reeded edge is visible around the coin's periphery, consistent with the host coin's original Philadelphia Mint production.
