Obverse description The obverse features the fourth effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicted in right-facing profile with a diademed bust, positioned at the upper center of the field. The antiqued silver field is divided into concentric zones: a brushed outer rim bearing the legends '1 DOLLAR' at the left and 'TUVALU' at the right, with 'QUEEN ELIZABETH II' arching along the lower border and the date '2022' at the lower right, all separated by dot stops. A ring of raised pellets frames an inner guilloche-textured annulus, at the center of which sits a rotating three-dimensional gold-plated tiger figurine mounted on a spindle mechanism, displaying the hindquarters and paws of the tiger when viewed from this face.
