Australia's Lunar Series II ran from 2008 to 2019, with the Perth Mint issuing a new animal coin each year in step with the Chinese zodiac cycle. The Rooster is the tenth animal in that cycle, and 2017 issues targeting collector markets in mainland China, Hong Kong, and the Chinese diaspora carried strong premiums on release.
