| Obverse description | The obverse of this rectangular silver coin is divided into two distinct zones. On the left, the Woodstock 50th anniversary branding is displayed, featuring the iconic dove-and-guitar logo above the legend '50 YEARS / 1969 2019 / WOODSTOCK®', alongside a 'Certificate of Authenticity' panel with specification text. On the right, a right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II is depicted in high relief against the field, with the legend 'COOK ISLANDS' above and 'ELIZABETH II' and '1 DOLLAR' below. The coin's finish is prooflike with partial color applied to the Woodstock branding elements. |

Woodstock's 50th anniversary in 2019 generated a wave of licensed commemoratives, and this is among the more unusual in format — the elongated 40×127 mm dimensions replicate the shape of an actual festival ticket. Cook Islands has issued currency under New Zealand's Crown since 1965, giving the territory legal authority to produce collector coinage that circulates nowhere but trades heavily in the secondary market.
The original Woodstock festival ran August 15–18, 1969, on Max Yasgur's dairy farm in Bethel, New York — not Woodstock itself.
