The scene is rendered in vibrant polychrome applied over the silver field, faithfully reproducing Memling's Flemish Primitive palette of ochres, blues, and reds. The artist's name HANS MEMLING runs vertically along the left border and the title THE LAST JUDGEMENT runs vertically along the right border, both in raised Latin capitals. The date 2013 appears in the lower-left corner of the field. |
