| Obverse description | At center, a recessed square stamp-shaped inset bears the diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the legends ELIZABETH II to the left, COOK ISLANDS to the right, 1 DOLLAR across the top, and the date 2021 at the bottom, all within a decorative Chinese geometric border.
