| Reverse description | The reverse depicts the famous Swallow's Nest castle perched dramatically atop Aurora Cliff on the Crimean southern coast, rendered in high relief against a deep mirror-polished black field. The neo-Gothic turrets and tiered cylindrical towers of the castle are faithfully reproduced, rising above a rocky promontory with detailed surface texture. Stylized clouds in relief flank the upper field on either side of the castle. A colorized panel in the lower portion of the field represents the Black Sea in vivid blue, providing striking contrast to the silver relief work. The Cyrillic legend ЛАСТОЧКИНО ГНЕЗДО (Swallow's Nest) is inscribed in two lines to the right of the castle. |
