| Obverse description | Diademed and draped right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the fourth portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, set within a raised inner circle occupying the central field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs above the portrait, while ONE DOLLAR curves along the lower border. The engraver's initials IRB appear below the truncation. The outer annular border is rendered in high-relief antiqued finish with a textured snow leopard fur motif, and the legend NIUE ISLAND 2015 arcs along the upper rim. The fineness mark Ag999 appears to the right of the effigy within the inner circle. |
