Reverse description Rectangular colored field reproducing, in full polychrome, a detail from Albrecht Dürer's celebrated woodcut series 'The Triumphal Procession of Emperor Maximilian I' (c. 1516–1518), depicting a richly ornamented triumphal car drawn by a team of horses in vigorous motion, with a winged figure atop the elaborately decorated vehicle. The warm sepia and ochre tones of the color printing evoke the appearance of the original woodcut on aged parchment. The artist's name ALBRECHT DÜRER is inscribed prominently in Gothic blackletter script across the upper portion of the reverse field.
