Reverse description A large, finely detailed Queen conch shell (Strombus gigas) is centrally positioned within a three-quarter beaded inner circle, its spire pointing upward and its flared lip rendered with naturalistic precision. Flanking the shell on either side are symmetrical sprays of coral or sea vegetation, forming a garland that frames the composition at the lower field. A small shrimp or marine creature appears at the upper left near the beaded circle. The denomination legend ONE DOLLAR arcs along the upper portion of the field outside the beaded circle, with the field below exhibiting the characteristic iridescent toning of a silver proof strike.
