| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, after the portrait by Arnold Machin. The queen is depicted with an elegantly draped neckline and flowing hair. The legend BERMUDA curves along the left periphery and ELIZABETH II along the right periphery in raised Latin lettering. The field is plain and unadorned, giving prominence to the refined, neoclassical portrait style characteristic of Machin's definitive coinage designs. |
